If you're driving to Blacksod Memorial Garden, start from Westport, which is a popular base for exploring County Mayo. Head west on the N59 road towards Leenane. Continue on the N59 until you reach the junction with the R335. Turn left onto the R335 and follow it until you reach the village of Achill Sound. From Achill Sound, take the R319 towards Achill Island. Drive across the Achill Island bridge and follow the road to the village of Keel. From Keel, continue to follow the signs for the R319 until you reach the end of the island. At the fork, continue straight to Fallmore. The Blacksod Memorial Garden will be on your left as you enter the village of Fallmore. Parking is available nearby, but make sure to check for any parking restrictions.

Bus Eireann operates services on this route, and you can check their timetable online for the latest schedules. Once you arrive in Belmullet, transfer to a local bus heading to Blacksod.
