After approximately 20 kilometers, turn left onto the R335 towards Geeveraune. Continue on this road for about 10 kilometers until you reach Belderg More. The Cascade is located at 8C5X+CC, which can be pinpointed using GPS. There is no parking fee in the area, but ensure you park safely and respect local regulations.
Public Transportation
To reach The Cascade via public transport, take a bus from Westport to Belmullet. The bus service (Bus Éireann) operates several routes throughout the day. Once you arrive in Belmullet, you may need to take a taxi to get to The Cascade, as public transport options directly to Geeveraune are limited. Walking
If you're nearby and prefer walking, you can trek from Geeveraune to The Cascade. Assuming you are in the center of Geeveraune, it is about a 3 km walk. Head west on the main road until you see signs for Belderg More. The walk will take around 40 minutes, offering beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
