If you're traveling by car, start your journey from the center of Athlone. Head northeast on the N61 road. After approximately 12 kilometers, take the exit for the R390 towards Ballinalee. Continue on the R390 for about 5 kilometers, then turn left onto the L2001 road. Follow the L2001 for approximately 3 kilometers until you see signs for the Wildlife Sanctuary on your right. There is parking available on-site.
