Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Dingle, head southeast on Green Street (Cúil na nGael) towards the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the waterfront promenade. Take a right onto the promenade and walk along the coast, enjoying the views of Dingle Bay. Follow the path as it curves around the bay until you reach the junction with the R559 road. Cross the road carefully and continue straight onto the R559, which will lead you towards Ventry. After about 3 kilometers, look for a sign indicating the path to Bín Bán. Follow the sign, which will lead you onto a smaller trail. Continue along this trail for approximately 1 kilometer until you arrive at Bín Bán, renowned for its stunning views of the coastline.

• Bicycle

  Start at the Dingle Bike Rental shop located in the town center. Rent a bicycle and head out of Dingle on the R559 road, following the signs for Ventry. The ride is approximately 4 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Bín Bán. Once you see the sign, turn onto the smaller trail leading to Bín Bán. Enjoy the picturesque scenery along the way, and secure your bike at the designated area once you reach Bín Bán to explore the area on foot.

• Public Transport

  While there is no direct public transport to Bín Bán, you can take a bus from Dingle to Ventry. The bus departs from the main bus stop in Dingle. Once you arrive in Ventry, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers back towards Dingle along the R559 until you see the sign for Bín Bán. Follow the sign onto the trail that leads to Bín Bán.

• Hiking Tour

  Join a guided hiking tour that departs from Dingle. These tours often include Bín Bán as a destination. The guides will take you through scenic routes and provide insights about the area. The starting point is usually at the Dingle Tourist Office or a designated meeting spot in the town center.
