Walking
Start your journey at the center of Dingle, at the roundabout near the Dingle Oceanworld Aquarium. Head west on the Main Street (Sráid Main) towards the harbor. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of the street, where you will see a sign for the Dingle Peninsula. Follow the signs towards the R559 road, which leads out of town. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will see a sign for Cahergal Stone Fort. Turn left onto the narrow country road (Kimego West), which will lead you directly to the fort. The walk should take about 30 to 40 minutes, depending on your pace.

Public Transport (Bus)
From Dingle town, head to the bus stop located near the post office on Green Street. Look for a bus heading towards Tralee or Killarney. Inform the driver you want to get off at the nearest stop for Cahergal Stone Fort. The journey will take about 15-20 minutes. Once you get off the bus, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer down the Kimego West road to reach the fort.

Bicycle Rental
Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Dingle. Once you have your bike, head towards the R559 road, following the same route as for walking. Riding a bike will make the journey faster, taking around 15-20 minutes to reach the fort. Make sure to follow the road signs towards Cahergal Stone Fort and watch for traffic along the way.
