Getting There

  • Foot

    From the center of Dingle, head south on Green Street towards the harbor. Continue straight to the end of the street, where you'll see Dingle Marina. Follow the road around the marina to the left. When you reach the end of the marina, turn right onto the R559 road and follow the signs for Portmagee. This is a scenic walk, approximately 3 hours, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water.

  • Public Transport

    From Dingle, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the Dingle Bus Station on The Mall. Take the Bus Éireann Route 275 towards Tralee. This will take approximately 30 minutes. Once in Tralee, transfer to the bus heading to Portmagee. The total journey time will be around 1.5 hours. Disembark at Portmagee and follow the signs to the marina for Casey's Skellig Island Tours.

  • Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Dingle. Start from Dingle town and head south towards the R559 road. Follow the R559 along the coast towards Portmagee. The cycling route is approximately 15 kilometers and offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape. Upon arrival in Portmagee, park your bike near the marina to join the tour.
