Walking
From Dingle town center, head towards Green Street and continue straight until you reach the junction with the R559 road. Turn right onto R559. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers until you reach the village of Lispole. From Lispole, continue on the R559 towards the town of Castlegregory. After about 10 kilometers, you will reach a fork in the road, take the left fork onto the N86. Walk for about 2 kilometers until you see signs for Valentia Island. You will need to take a ferry from the mainland to Valentia Island.

Take the ferry from the mainland to Valentia Island. The ferry operates frequently, and the crossing takes about 15 minutes. Once on Valentia Island, follow the signs to Feaghmaan West. The Grotto is located on Slate, Quarry Road. It is approximately a 1.5-kilometer walk from the ferry terminal to The Grotto.

Upon reaching Valentia Island, exit the ferry terminal and head north towards the main road. Continue straight until you reach Quarry Road. Turn left onto Quarry Road and walk for about 1 kilometer. The Grotto will be on your right. Look for the sign indicating the entrance.
