Discovering the Serenity of Croppies Acre Memorial Park

Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Drogheda, head towards the Drogheda Train Station located on the south side of the River Boyne. Once you reach the station, you can take the train to Dublin. The journey takes about 30 minutes. After arriving at Dublin's Pearse Station, exit the station and head towards the south on Pearse Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Westland Row. Turn right onto Westland Row and proceed until you reach the intersection with Merrion Square. From Merrion Square, head north on Merrion Street and follow the signs towards Croppies Acre Memorial Park, which is located just a short walk away.

• Bus

  From Drogheda, head to the Drogheda Bus Station located at 1-3 Fair Street. Take the Bus Éireann route 100 to Dublin. This bus will take you to Busáras, Dublin's central bus station. Once you arrive at Busáras, exit the station and turn right onto Store Street. Continue straight and turn left onto Talbot Street. Walk until you reach O'Connell Street, then head towards Parnell Square. From there, follow the signs to Croppies Acre Memorial Park, which is a short distance away.

• Train

  Start from Drogheda's Train Station located on the south bank of the River Boyne. Take a train heading towards Dublin. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Dublin's Connolly Station, exit the station and walk towards Amiens Street. Head south on Amiens Street until you reach O'Connell Street. Cross over to the other side of O'Connell Street and head towards Parnell Square. From there, follow the signs to Croppies Acre Memorial Park, which is located nearby.
