From Drogheda, head to the Drogheda Bus Station located at 1-2, Shop Street, Drogheda. Look for the Bus Éireann services heading towards Dublin. You can catch the bus number 100 or 101, which will take you directly to Dublin City Centre. The journey takes approximately 40-50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Busáras (Dublin Bus Station), you can catch a local bus (routes 7 or 7A) or walk towards the Grand Canal Dock area.

Make your way to the Drogheda Train Station located at the end of Railway Street. From there, take a train towards Dublin Connolly Station. The journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Upon arriving at Dublin Connolly Station, exit the station and head towards the Luas (tram) stop at Abbey Street. Take the Luas Red Line tram towards Tallaght and get off at the Jervis stop. From there, walk towards the River Liffey, cross the river, and head south towards the Grand Canal Dock area.

Once you arrive in Dublin, walking from the city center to Grand Canal Dock is a pleasant option. Head towards the Liffey River and follow the riverbank south past the Ha'penny Bridge, then cross over to the south side. Continue walking along the river until you reach the Grand Canal area, which is well signposted.
