Getting There

Bus
From Drogheda, walk to the Drogheda Bus Station located on Fair Street. Look for the bus route 100 or 101 heading towards Skerries. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Skerries, disembark at the main bus stop in the town center. From there, walk towards the coast, following the signs towards the Mills, which is about a 10-minute walk along the scenic path.

Make your way to Drogheda Train Station, which is located on the south side of the River Boyne. Purchase a ticket for a train to Skerries. The train journey will take around 20-30 minutes. After arriving at Skerries Station, exit the station and head straight towards the main road. Turn left and follow the road for about 15 minutes until you reach Skerries Mills.

If you prefer to walk, you can start from the center of Drogheda at the Market Square. Head southwest on West Street, then turn right onto O'Connell Street. Continue straight until you reach the bridge over the River Boyne. Cross the bridge and turn left onto the R132 road towards Balbriggan. Follow this road for approximately 6 km, which will take about 1.5 hours. Skerries Mills will be on your left as you approach the town.
