Walking
Start at the Drogheda Bus Station, which is located on the east side of the town center. Exit the bus station and head south on Shop Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with West Street. Turn left onto West Street and walk until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the R132. Follow this road until you reach the bus stop for Dublin. Take a bus to Dublin city center (approximately 45 minutes). Once in Dublin, exit the bus at O'Connell Street. From O'Connell Street, walk towards the River Liffey and cross the O'Connell Bridge. Continue straight onto D'Olier Street, then turn left onto College Street. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Earl Street. Turn right onto Earl Street and you will find the James Joyce Statue on your left.

From Drogheda, go to the Drogheda Bus Station and take a bus that is heading directly to Dublin. Make sure to check the schedules for a bus that stops at O'Connell Street in Dublin. The journey will take around 45 minutes. Once you arrive at O'Connell Street, exit the bus and walk towards the River Liffey. Cross the O'Connell Bridge and head onto D'Olier Street. Turn left onto College Street and continue straight until you reach the intersection with Earl Street. Finally, turn right onto Earl Street; the James Joyce Statue will be on your left.

Head to the Drogheda Train Station located on the north side of the town. Purchase a ticket for a train heading to Dublin. It takes approximately 30 minutes to get to Dublin Connolly Station. Once you arrive, exit the station and turn right onto Amiens Street. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with O'Connell Street. Cross over and walk towards the River Liffey. From there, cross the O'Connell Bridge and proceed onto D'Olier Street. Turn left onto College Street, and continue straight until you reach Earl Street. Turn right onto Earl Street, and the James Joyce Statue will be on your left.
