Walking
If you are starting from O'Connell Street, head east towards Abbey Street. Turn right onto Abbey Street and walk until you reach the River Liffey. Cross the river using the O'Connell Bridge. Once across, turn left and walk along the river's edge until you reach the end of the bridge. From there, head right onto Wellington Quay, then take a left onto Crown Alley. Continue straight until you reach the junction with George's Street. Take a right onto George's Street and walk until you see the entrance to the James Joyce Centre on your left at 35 N Great George's St.

From O'Connell Street, you can take Bus 11 or Bus 13 towards the south. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop at Parnell Square (stop number 433). From Parnell Square, you can walk north on Great George's Street. The James Joyce Centre will be located at 35 N Great George's St on your right, just a short walk from the bus stop.

If you are near the LUAS tram lines, you can take the Green Line tram towards Broombridge. Get off at the Parnell stop. From there, walk east to O'Connell Street, then head south along O'Connell Street until you reach Abbey Street.
