Take any bus that stops at Dame Street. You can catch buses 15, 27, 56a, or 77a from various points in the city center. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach Dame Street. Once you get off, Dublin Castle will be just a short walk down the street.

Take the Luas Red Line and get off at the 'Jervis' stop. From there, exit the station and walk east along Abbey Street. Turn left onto Dame Street, and you will find Dublin Castle a few minutes down the road on your left.
