If you only have time to do one tour, I highly recommend a private tour with James as your guide. This was the perfect way to see the city center!! Highly recommend James, our guide, as he was excellent!! He is very knowledgeable, flexible and personable. He explained the history and the facts in a conversational way that made it easy to understand and remember. He customized the trip to what we wanted to see, kept to our pace, we stopped to buy things during the tour and at the end of the tour, recommended a fabulous pub for lunch. I will hire him again when I return with my extended family next year.

This was an excellent tour. I cannot thank Seamus enough. Taking this walking tour and having a professional guide narrate the history of Ireland made our trip to Dublin. Seamus is so smart, interesting and knowledgeable to the point that we are still talking about him today, one week after we arrived home. Having a guide talk to us about the important historical parts was far more engaging than wandering around by ourselves. Highly recommend.
