From Dublin city center, make your way to the nearest DART station, such as Tara Street Station. Purchase a ticket to Howth station. The DART train to Howth departs frequently, approximately every 15 minutes. Enjoy the scenic ride along the coast, which takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Howth station, exit the station and walk straight along Station Road towards the sea. Continue onto Harbour Road, and follow it until you reach Abbey Street. Turn left on Abbey Street, where you will find Martello Tower located at 13b, on your right.

From Dublin city center, head to O'Connell Street and locate the bus stop for the 31 or 31B bus. Purchase a ticket from the driver. The bus ride to Howth typically takes around 40-50 minutes, depending on traffic. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop at Howth Village. Once you disembark, walk towards the harbor, following the signs for Abbey Street. Turn right onto Abbey Street, and you will see Martello Tower at 13b on your left.

Walking from Howth Village
If you are already in Howth Village, make your way to the harbor area. From the harbor, head east along Harbour Road. When you reach the end of Harbour Road, continue straight onto Abbey Street. Walk along Abbey Street for about 10 minutes. Martello Tower will be located at 13b, on your right-hand side. This is a pleasant walk with views of the sea.
