    If you're starting from O'Connell Street, walk south towards the River Liffey. Cross the river at O'Connell Bridge. Once on the south side, continue straight onto D'Olier Street, which will turn into Fleet Street. Follow Fleet Street until you reach the junction with Westmoreland Street. Turn left onto Westmoreland Street, and then right onto College Green. Continue straight past Trinity College and onto Dame Street. At the next junction, turn left onto South William Street, then right onto George's Street. Follow George's Street until you reach Saint Stephen's Green. From the southern end of the park, walk to the western side where you will find Merrion Square West just a short walk away.

    Head to the nearest bus stop and catch the number 10, 11, or 46A bus towards Merrion Square. You can catch these buses from various locations throughout Dublin, including O'Connell Street. Be sure to ask the bus driver to confirm that the bus will stop near Merrion Square. After about 15-20 minutes, disembark at the Merrion Square stop. You will see the park directly in front of you.

  • DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit)

    If you are near a DART station, take the DART train towards Bray or Greystones. Disembark at Pearse Station, which is the closest station to Merrion Square. From Pearse Station, exit and walk west along Pearse Street, then turn left onto Merrion Square South. Continue straight until you reach Merrion Square West, where you will find the park.
