Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from Dublin city center, head east on O'Connell Street towards the River Liffey. Cross the river using the O'Connell Bridge, then continue straight onto College Green. You will see Trinity College on your left. Continue walking straight until you reach Nassau Street, then take a left. Follow Nassau Street until it turns into Merrion Square. The National Gallery of Ireland will be on your left at Merrion Square W, D02 K303.

From your current location, find the nearest bus stop that services Dublin Bus routes. Take the bus that goes to Merrion Square. You can check the Dublin Bus app or website for the best route. Once you get off at the Merrion Square stop, walk towards Merrion Square W, and the National Gallery of Ireland will be located at D02 K303, just a short walk from the bus stop.

If you are near a Luas stop, take the Luas Green Line towards Brides Glen. Disembark at the St. Stephen's Green stop. From there, exit the Luas station and walk northeast towards Merrion Square. Keep walking until you reach Merrion Square W, and you will find the National Gallery of Ireland at D02 K303.
