    From the city center, make your way to the Pearse Station. You can walk there from places like Trinity College. Once at Pearse Station, purchase a ticket for the DART train heading towards Bray or Greystones. Get off at Sandymount Station, which is about a 10-minute ride. Once you exit Sandymount Station, head east on Sandymount Road until you reach the intersection with Strand Road. Turn left onto Strand Road, and you will find Sandymount Beach about a 15-minute walk ahead.

    To reach Sandymount Beach via bus, head to a nearby bus stop in the city center, such as O'Connell Street. Take bus number 1, 3, or 47. Make sure to check the bus directions to ensure it stops at Sandymount Strand. After getting off at the Sandymount Strand stop, walk east along Strand Road for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Sandymount Beach.

    If you prefer walking, start from a central location like O'Connell Street. Head south towards the River Liffey and cross over the O'Connell Bridge. Continue straight and follow the signs towards Ringsend and Sandymount. The walk is approximately 3 miles (5 kilometers) and will take about an hour. Follow the path along the river, then turn onto Strand Road when you reach it. Keep walking until you reach Sandymount Beach.

    For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in Dublin. Head south towards the river and follow the cycle paths along the Grand Canal towards Ringsend. The ride is about 4 miles (6.5 kilometers) and should take around 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.
