Bus
Start at O'Connell Street, a central location in Dublin. Take the Dublin Bus route 53 towards 'Dun Laoghaire'. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach 'Poolbeg Lighthouse'. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you get off the bus, walk towards the coast; you will see the Great South Wall leading to the lighthouse.

DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit)
Make your way to Pearse Station or Tara Street Station. Take the DART southbound towards Greystones. Get off at 'Sandymount' station (this is about a 10-minute ride). Exit the station and head towards the coast, following signs for the Great South Wall. The walk will take you approximately 20-25 minutes along the scenic route.

If you are in the Dublin city center, you can walk to the Great South Wall. Head towards the River Liffey and cross the Samuel Beckett Bridge. Continue walking along the river until you reach the Grand Canal Docks. Follow the road towards 'Sir John Rogerson's Quay' and then take a right onto 'Custom House Quay'. This route will lead you towards the coast. Keep walking until you reach the Great South Wall, which will take around 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on your pace.
