Getting There

DART Train
From Dublin Castle, walk to the nearest DART station, which is Pearse Station. Exit the castle grounds and head southwest on Clanbrassil Street towards Pearse Street. Turn right onto Pearse Street and you'll find Pearse Station on your left. Purchase a ticket to Dalkey, which costs approximately €4.50 one way. Board the DART train towards Bray and ride for about 25 minutes. Disembark at Dalkey Station.

Walking
Once you arrive at Dalkey Station, exit the station and turn right onto Castle Street. Follow Castle Street for about 10 minutes, and you will find Dalkey Castle & Heritage Centre on your left. The walk is pleasant and will take you through the charming village of Dalkey.

Bus
Alternatively, from Dublin Castle, you can take a bus. Walk to the nearest bus stop at the bottom of Clanbrassil Street. Board the bus number 145 towards Dun Laoghaire. The bus fare is about €2.50. Get off at the stop 'Dalkey Castle' which is about a 45-minute ride. From there, Dalkey Castle & Heritage Centre is just a short walk away.
