Belfast: Private Whiskey Tour with McConnells Distillery

Excellent Belfast Irish Whiskey Tour with Vincent

Excellent Belfast Irish Whiskey Tour with Vincent I had a fantastic day on the Irish Whiskey Tour to Belfast on 18 September 2026, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, interesting, and well-organised private day trip. The experience offered a great mix of Belfast’s history, culture, shopping, and whiskey heritage, all made even better by our wonderful driver, Vincent. Vincent was absolutely marvellous from beginning to end. He was friendly, professional, punctual, and clearly knowledgeable about Belfast and its history. He made the journey enjoyable and relaxed, ensuring there was plenty of time at each stop without the day ever feeling rushed. His warm manner and helpful approach really added to the overall experience. Our first major stop was the Peace Wall, which was a powerful and thought-provoking part of the day. Seeing it in person gives real perspective on Belfast’s complex past and the importance of peace and reconciliation. Vincent provided useful context and made sure we had time to take photographs and reflect on what we were seeing. We also visited McConnell’s Distillery, located at the historic Crumlin Road Gaol site. It was an excellent visit, combining the story of a Belfast whiskey brand with a memorable setting steeped in local history. McConnell’s visitor experience is based in the former gaol complex and explores the brand’s Belfast roots. A visit to an Irish tourist gift shop was a welcome addition, with a good opportunity to pick up quality souvenirs, gifts, and Irish products. The day concluded at Titanic Belfast, one of the city’s standout attractions, where we had time to explore the museum and learn more about the ship’s construction and Belfast’s shipbuilding legacy. This was a thoroughly enjoyable and varied tour, but Vincent’s care, professionalism, and excellent company made it especially memorable. Five stars without hesitation.

Guinness Storehouse, Irish Whiskey Experience and Brazen Head

Must do tours. Dermot was the best!

Very interactive and interesting tour. There is more things to see at the Guinness Storehouse than there is time to see. Roe and Co. Distillery was also a hit. Making our own cocktails was excellent. Ive been on many tours and I have to say that Dermot was exceptional. He shared great history and insured everyone was taken care of. I'd do the entire tour with him again.

Dublin Jameson Distillery Bow St. Choice of Experiences

Everytime a great experience

I recently visited the Jameson Distillery tour, and it was an incredible experience both this year and in 2022. The tour itself is well-structured, informative, and entertaining, offering a deep dive into the history and craftsmanship behind their iconic whiskey. What I particularly appreciated was how engaging it was, even for people who aren’t whiskey enthusiasts. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, making it accessible to all, with the tasting session adding a fun touch. Whether you’re a whiskey lover or not, I highly recommend the Jameson Distillery tour for a memorable and unique experience!
