The Iconic Molly Malone Statue: A Dublin Landmark

Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Trinity College Dublin, exit the college through the main entrance on College Green. Once outside, turn left and walk down College Green towards the traffic lights. Cross the road to continue straight onto Dame Street. Walk along Dame Street for about 5 minutes until you reach the junction with South Great George's Street. Turn left onto South Great George's Street, and then take the first right onto Suffolk Street. The Molly Malone Statue will be on your left-hand side, located near the end of Suffolk Street.

• Walking

  If you are starting from Dublin Castle, exit the castle grounds onto Castle Street. Walk east on Castle Street until you reach the junction with Dame Street. Turn left onto Dame Street and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will pass by several shops and cafes. Once you reach the junction with South Great George's Street, turn right. Take the first right onto Suffolk Street, and you will find the Molly Malone Statue at the end of the street on your left.

• Public Transport

  From O'Connell Street, you can take the Luas tram (Red Line) towards The Point. Get off at the next stop, Abbey Street. Walk towards the River Liffey and cross the O'Connell Bridge. Continue straight onto D'Olier Street, then turn left onto College Green. Walk down College Green until you reach Dame Street. Continue along Dame Street for about 5 minutes, then turn left onto South Great George's Street. Take the first right onto Suffolk Street, and the Molly Malone Statue will be on your left.
