Getting there

Bus

From Dublin city center, take the Dublin Bus route 25 or 26 from O'Connell Street. Disembark at the Phoenix Park stop. Once you get off the bus, walk through the park entrance and follow the main path straight towards the Wellington Monument, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. Keep an eye out for the tall obelisk as you approach.

Tram (LUAS)

Take the LUAS Red Line tram from any of the central stops towards Tallaght. Get off at the Heuston Station stop. From Heuston Station, exit the station and walk towards the main entrance of Phoenix Park. Once inside the park, follow the main path leading towards the Wellington Monument. It will take approximately 20 minutes to reach the monument from the tram stop.

Walking

If you are already near Phoenix Park, simply walk towards the main entrance located on Parkgate Street. After entering the park, continue walking straight along the main path, which will lead you directly to the Wellington Monument. It should take around 15-20 minutes depending on your pace. The monument is a prominent feature, so you should be able to spot it from a distance.

Bicycle

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike-sharing stations around Dublin. Head towards Phoenix Park, entering through the main gate on Parkgate Street.
