From Temple Bar, head towards the River Liffey and cross the Ha'penny Bridge. Once across the bridge, continue straight on to the main street, which is called Westmoreland Street. Keep walking straight until you reach O'Connell Bridge. Cross over O'Connell Bridge and keep going straight onto D'Olier Street, which will lead you to Dame Street. Continue walking along Dame Street, and you will find Dublin Castle on your left. The total walking distance is approximately 15-20 minutes.
