The bus journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Galway, get off at the stop closest to Eyre Square. From Eyre Square, walk down Shop Street which will lead you to High Street. Murphy's Ice Cream is located at 12 High St, which is just a short walk from there.
