Walking
From the center of Ennis, head north on O'Connell Street towards the roundabout. Continue straight onto the N85 road. Follow the N85 for about 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with the N6. Take the N6 west towards Galway. After approximately 20 kilometers, follow the signs for Galway City Center. Once in the city, you will be on the Quay Street area. Continue walking towards the coast, and you will see signs for The Long Walk, which is a scenic waterfront path.

From Ennis, you can take a bus from the Ennis Bus Station. Look for a bus heading to Galway City, which is operated by Bus Éireann. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes to 1 hour. Once you arrive at Galway Bus Station, exit the station and head towards the coast, following the signs towards the Spanish Arch. From there, continue along the waterfront until you reach The Long Walk.

You can catch a train from Ennis Train Station to Galway. Make sure to check the train schedule as trains may not run frequently. The journey takes about 1 hour.
