Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Galway Cathedral, head southwest on University Road towards the River Corrib. Cross the river via O'Donoghue Bridge. Once across, continue straight onto Merchant's Road. Follow this road until it merges with Quay Street. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Shop Street. Turn left onto Shop Street and continue straight until you reach Eyre Square, which will be on your right.

    Starting from the Spanish Arch, walk northeast along the Quay Street towards the intersection with Shop Street. Turn right onto Shop Street and continue walking straight. Eyre Square will be on your left as you approach the end of Shop Street.

After crossing, continue straight on Merchant's Road, which will lead you to Quay Street.
