Walking
If you're starting from Eyre Square, head southwest toward the corner of Eyre Square. From there, take a right onto Shop Street, which is a lively pedestrian street filled with shops and cafes. Continue walking straight until you reach Quay Street. Once at Quay Street, turn left, and you will find yourself along the River Corrib. Follow the riverbank until you reach the Spanish Arch. From the Spanish Arch, continue along the riverfront path, which will lead you directly to The Long Walk, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Claddagh and the bay.
Public Transport
From Eyre Square, you can take a bus (Bus 404 toward Salthill) from the main bus stop located near the Eyre Square Shopping Centre. Alight at the stop closest to the Claddagh area. After getting off, walk down Quay Street until you reach the Spanish Arch, then follow the river path leading to The Long Walk. This route also offers scenic views along the way.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the rental stations around Eyre Square. Begin your ride heading towards the River Corrib. Once you reach the river, follow the cycle path along the riverbank toward the Spanish Arch. Continue along the path, and it will take you to The Long Walk, where you can park your bike and enjoy the waterfront.
