From Eyre Square, head southwest toward Forster Street. Continue straight onto Forster Street, then turn left onto Albert Road. Follow Albert Road until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the Dock Road. Continue walking along the Dock Road until you reach the next roundabout, where you will take the first exit onto the Claddagh Quay. Stay on this road until you see a bridge; cross the bridge and continue straight. At the next intersection, turn right onto Bowling Green. Nora Barnacle's House will be on your left at 8 Bowling Green, Galway, H91 Y9X8.
Bus
If you are near the main bus stops in Galway, take Bus Route 404 or 405 towards Salthill. Get off at the stop named 'The Claddagh.' From there, walk straight down Claddagh Road until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the Dock Road and continue straight until the next roundabout. Then take the first exit onto the Claddagh Quay, and proceed straight. After crossing the bridge, turn right at the intersection onto Bowling Green. If you have access to a bicycle, start from the Galway Cathedral. Head west on University Road, then turn left onto Quay Street.
