Walking
From Killarney town center, head towards the Killarney National Park entrance located at the end of Main Street. Once you reach the entrance, continue straight along the main path. Follow the signs for Muckross House, which will guide you through the park. After approximately 30 minutes of walking, you'll reach Muckross House. From there, take the path heading towards the 'Tomies Wood' trail. Continue along this trail for about 20 minutes until you reach O'Sullivans Cascade, which is located in Tomies East. The cascade is a beautiful spot within the park, and you will see it shortly after the trail leads you down a gentle slope.
Public Transport
Begin at the Killarney Bus Station and take the bus to Muckross House, which is a popular stop. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Muckross House, exit the bus, and follow the previous walking directions from there. The trail to O'Sullivans Cascade starts near the house and leads you directly into the scenic area of Tomies East.
