Walking
If you are in the city center, start at O'Connell Street. Head south towards the Shannon River. Cross the bridge at Sarsfield Bridge. Once you reach the riverbank, turn left and follow the path along the river. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Pery Square. From Pery Square, take a right onto Glentworth Street and continue straight until you reach the entrance of People's Park on your left.
Public Transport - Bus
From the city center, locate the nearest bus stop. Take bus number 304 or 305 towards 'Raheen' or 'Ballysimon'. Get off at the stop 'People's Park' which is directly outside the park. The bus service is regular, and tickets can be purchased on board or via a mobile app.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from the city center and head towards the River Shannon. Use the bike lanes along the riverbank path heading south. Follow the path until you reach Pery Square, then turn right onto Glentworth Street. The entrance to People's Park will be on your left. There are bike racks available at the park for parking.
