If you are starting from the city center, head towards O'Connell Street. Walk straight until you reach the junction with William Street, and turn left. Continue walking along William Street until you reach the end, where it merges into the Dock Road. Follow Dock Road for about 1.5 km, passing by the River Shannon on your left. Keep an eye out for the pedestrian bridge that crosses the river. Cross the bridge, then take a right onto Condell Road. Walk along Condell Road for about 800 meters, and you will find The Neil Cusack Trail on your right, just past the Farranshone More area.

From the city center, you can take a bus from the Arthur's Quay bus stop. Look for the bus routes that head towards the Farranshone area. The bus number 303 or 307 are good options. It should take about 15-20 minutes to reach your stop at Condell Road. Once you get off, walk along Condell Road for about 500 meters, and The Neil Cusack Trail will be on your left.
