Walking
If you're near the city center, start at O'Connell Street, the main thoroughfare. Head north towards the River Shannon. Once you reach the river, turn right onto the path along the riverbank. Continue walking along the river until you reach Sarsfield Bridge. Cross Sarsfield Bridge, and once on the other side, turn left to follow the riverbank again. Continue walking until you see Thomond Bridge ahead. It is located at Castle Street and High Road.

Take Bus Route 302 or 303 from the Limerick Bus Station. Disembark at the stop closest to the Shannon Bridge (Sarsfield Bridge). From there, walk north along the riverbank until you reach Thomond Bridge. It should be a short 10-15 minute walk.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in the city center. Start on O'Connell Street and head towards the River Shannon. Follow the cycle path along the river until you reach Sarsfield Bridge. Cross the bridge and continue cycling along the river until you reach Thomond Bridge. The bike ride should take around 10-15 minutes.
