Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the city center, head towards O'Connell Street. From O'Connell Street, walk south towards the River Shannon. Once you reach the river, turn left and follow the riverbank until you see Sarsfield Bridge. Cross Sarsfield Bridge, and after crossing, continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Dock Road. Follow Dock Road until you see signs for King John's Castle. The Tourist Information Centre is located at King John's Castle, Nicholas Street, Englishtown, Limerick, V94 FX25.

• Bus

  If you prefer to take public transport, look for local buses that head towards King John's Castle. You can catch a bus from various points in the city center, such as O'Connell Street or Parnell Street. Make sure to ask the bus driver if they stop near King John's Castle. Once you get off the bus, follow the signs directing you to King John's Castle, which is where the Tourist Information Centre is located.

• Bicycle

  For those who are comfortable cycling, there are bike rental stations available around the city. After renting a bike, head towards the River Shannon and follow the cycle routes along the riverbank. Keep cycling until you reach Sarsfield Bridge, cross it, and continue on the cycle path towards Dock Road. Follow the signs to King John's Castle; the Tourist Information Centre is situated at King John's Castle, Nicholas Street, Englishtown, Limerick, V94 FX25.
