Getting There

Car
From Mizen Head, take the R591 road towards Goleen. Continue on this road for about 5 minutes until you reach the junction. Turn left onto the N71 road. Follow the N71 for approximately 10 minutes, enjoying the scenic views of the coastline. When you reach the village of Goleen, continue straight until you see signs for Mizen Head. The road will lead you directly to the Mizen Head Visitor Centre where you can park your car. There is a parking fee of €5 which grants you access to the lighthouse and surrounding areas.

If you are using public transportation, take a bus from the nearby town of Skibbereen to Goleen. The bus service is operated by Bus Éireann (check their website for the latest schedule).
