Getting There

  • Walking

    From the Salthill Promenade, head east towards the main road (Threadneedle Road). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the Seapoint Promenade. Turn left onto Seapoint Promenade and walk along the coast for about 15 minutes. You will pass by the beautiful views of Galway Bay. Keep walking straight until you reach the end of the promenade where it merges into the main road. Cross over to the other side of the road (you will see the sign for Galway city center). Continue walking straight for another 5 minutes, and you will see Bowling Green on your right as you enter the city area.

  • Public Transport (Bus)

    From Salthill, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the main road (Threadneedle Road). Look for Bus No. 401 or 404 which goes towards Galway City Center. Once on the bus, remain on it for approximately 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Eyre Square' stop. From Eyre Square, walk down the street towards the west for about 5 minutes, and you will find Bowling Green located nearby.
