From the Salthill Promenade, head east towards the main road (Promenade). Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the main road. Cross the road and keep walking straight until you reach the Claddagh area. After passing the Claddagh, follow the signs towards the city center. You’ll see a sign directing you towards Middle Street. Continue on this path until you reach Middle Street, where Charlie Byrne's Bookshop is located at The Cornstore.

From Salthill, walk to the nearest bus stop on the Promenade. Look for bus route number 404 or 405 that travels towards Galway City. Board the bus and inform the driver you wish to get off at the stop for Eyre Square. Once you arrive at Eyre Square, exit the bus and walk towards Shop Street. Follow Shop Street until you reach Middle Street. Charlie Byrne's Bookshop will be on your left at The Cornstore.
