Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from Salthill Promenade, walk along the promenade heading west. Keep the sea on your left side. Continue walking for about 10 minutes until you reach the end of the promenade. At the end, you will see a small park area. Cross the road at the designated pedestrian crossing, and enter Salthill Park. Walk through the park, following the path that leads towards the beach. You will find Palmers Beach at the western end of the park. It's a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the views.

    From Salthill, head to the nearest bus stop located on the main road (the stop is usually near the promenade). You can take Bus 401 towards Galway City. Get off at the 'Salthill Park' stop. Once you disembark, walk towards the park entrance. Enter Salthill Park and follow the pathways leading towards the beach area; Palmers Beach will be located at the western end of the park.
