    From any point in Slieve League Cliffs, head towards the R263 road. If you are near the Slieve League Visitor Centre, take the R263 southbound. Continue on the R263 for approximately 4 kilometers until you reach the turnoff for Kilcar. Turn onto the L1216 road, which will lead you towards Tawny. Follow the L1216 for about 2 kilometers, and you will see signs for Kilcar Viewpoint. There is a parking area available near the viewpoint.

    If you are relying on public transport, take a bus from Donegal Town to Kilcar. Bus services operate from the Bus Éireann station. Once you arrive in Kilcar, you can either walk or take a local taxi to reach Kilcar Viewpoint. The viewpoint is about 3 kilometers from the Kilcar village center. Walking will take approximately 40 minutes, and local taxis can be booked in advance or found at the bus stop.
