After passing the village of Carrick, look for a small sign indicating Salmon Leap. The location is just off the road; you will need to park at a designated area nearby and walk the last few hundred meters to reach the Salmon Leap.

If you are using public transport, take a bus to the village of Carrick Lower. Bus services operate from Donegal Town to Carrick. Once you arrive at Carrick, you may need to walk about 1 kilometer to reach Salmon Leap. Follow the R263 road in the direction of Slieve League Cliffs, and keep an eye out for signs leading to Salmon Leap. It is advisable to check local bus schedules in advance, as services may be limited.

Walking

For those already in the vicinity and prefer walking, head towards the R263 road from any location in Slieve League. Walk along the R263 towards Carrick Lower.
