Once you arrive at the nearest stop, Carrowmore, you will need to walk approximately 10 minutes to reach the site.

If you prefer to walk from Sligo town, start at the Sligo City Hall and head south on Quay Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the N4. Cross over to the left side of the road and follow the N4 towards Ballisodare. After about 2.5 km, you will see signs for Carrowmore. Continue along the path until you see the entrance for the cemetery, which is approximately a 30-40 minute walk from the city center.

For cycling enthusiasts, you can rent a bike from one of the local shops in Sligo. Head south from the town center towards the N4.
