From there, walk approximately 1.5 kilometers heading northeast on Ballure Lane. Keep an eye out for signage pointing towards Colgagh Lough as you approach. If you prefer to walk from Sligo town center, start at the Sligo Cathedral on Hyde Bridge. Head west on O'Connell Street and then take a left onto Quay Street. As you approach Ballure, look for Ballure Lane on your left. Follow this lane for 1.5 kilometers. You will see signs for Colgagh Lough Viewpoint as you approach.
