Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the town of Lisdoonvarna. Take the R478 road towards Fanore. After approximately 8 kilometers, you will reach a junction. Continue straight onto the R479 road towards Fanore. After another 3 kilometers, you will see signs for Caher Bridge Garden. Turn left onto a small road leading to Formoyle West. Keep an eye out for the entrance to Caher Bridge Garden on your right. The journey should take about 20 minutes.

• Public Transportation

  From Galway, take a Bus Eireann service to Lisdoonvarna. Once in Lisdoonvarna, you will need to take a local taxi or arrange a shuttle service, as public transportation options to Fanore are limited. The taxi ride from Lisdoonvarna to Caher Bridge Garden will take approximately 20 minutes and cost around €30-€40. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

  If you're staying close to Fanore and wish to walk, you can take a scenic route through the Burren landscape. From Fanore village, head west along the R478 road for about 1 kilometer, then turn onto the small road that leads to Formoyle West. The distance from Fanore to Caher Bridge Garden is roughly 3 kilometers, and it should take you about 45 minutes to walk, so wear comfortable shoes and enjoy the beautiful views along the way.
