From The Burren, head southeast on the N67 towards Ennistymon. Continue on N67 for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction with the N18. Merge onto the N18 heading south towards Galway. After about 38 kilometers, take the exit towards Galway City and merge onto the R336. Follow the R336 for about 3 kilometers to Spanish Parade, where you will find Galway City Museum at the address: Spanish Parade, Galway, H91 CX5P. Parking is available nearby, but expect to pay for parking in city center.

From The Burren, you can take a bus from Lisdoonvarna to Galway City. Check the schedules on Bus Eireann. The journey typically takes around 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at Galway Bus Station, it is a short 15-minute walk to the museum. Head east on Eyre Square, then turn left onto Forster Street, and continue onto Spanish Parade. Although there are no direct trains from The Burren, you can take a bus to Ennis and then transfer to a train to Galway from Ennis Train Station. The train journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Galway Train Station, it is a 20-minute walk to the museum. Exit the station onto Eyre Square, walk east and turn left onto Forster Street, then continue onto Spanish Parade to reach Galway City Museum at Spanish Parade, Galway, H91 CX5P.
