Walking
From the center of Tralee, head towards the Tralee Bay Wetlands. Walk along the Canal walk until you reach the Wetlands entrance. Continue along the scenic path that leads to the coast. Once you reach the main road (N86), turn left and continue walking. After approximately 1.5 miles, you will see signs for Rossbeigh Strand. Follow the signs, and you will arrive at the beautiful beach.
Public Transport
From Tralee town center, walk to the nearest bus stop located at Edward Street. Take the Bus Éireann route number 276 towards Glenbeigh. The bus will take you through scenic routes; stay on for about 30 minutes. Get off at the Rossbeigh Strand stop. From there, it’s a short walk (about 5 minutes) to the beach entrance.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from Tralee town center and head towards the Tralee Bay Wetlands. Follow the cycle path along the canal, then continue down to the N86. The journey is around 5 miles and should take around 20-30 minutes. Follow the signs to Rossbeigh Strand once you reach the main road.
