Getting there

Walking

If you are starting from Waterford City Centre, head towards the Main Street (O'Connell Street). Walk in the direction of the Clock Tower, which is a notable landmark. Once you reach the Clock Tower, continue straight until you reach the junction with the Quay. Turn left onto the Quay and walk along the riverbank. After a short walk, you will see the entrance to John Roberts Square on your right. The square is well-marked and is a popular gathering point.

If you are near a bus stop, you can take a local bus that travels towards the city centre. Look for buses heading towards the Main Street or the Quay. Get off at the 'Main Street' stop. From there, walk towards the Clock Tower and follow the same directions as walking. The journey should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
