    Start from the Waterford City Centre. Head southeast towards John Street. Walk down John Street until you reach the junction with the Quay. Turn left onto the Quay and continue walking until you reach the bridge. Cross the bridge, and continue straight onto the John Hill Road. Continue walking up the hill. The old workhouse is located at the Front Block of St. Patrick's Hospital on John's Hill. Look for the large building at the top of the hill on your right.
