From Wexford town, head to the Wexford bus station located on the Quay. Board Bus Éireann service number 370 towards Rosslare Europort. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at the Johnstown Castle stop. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you get off, follow the signs for Johnstown Castle Estate, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head down the road until you see the entrance to the estate on your right.

Continue along the River Slaney until you reach the intersection with the R741. Cross the road and follow the R741 towards Johnstown. After about 1.5 miles, you'll see signs for Johnstown Castle. The walk will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.
