Car
If you are driving, head to the Wicklow Mountains National Park. From Dublin, take the M50 motorway and exit at junction 11 for the N81 towards Tallaght. Continue on the N81 until you reach the R759. Follow the R759 through the scenic Sally Gap. Once you arrive at the parking area near the Lough, park your car. There may be a parking fee, so be sure to have some coins or a card ready.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from Dublin to Wicklow Town. You can use the Bus Eireann service (Route 133). Once you reach Wicklow Town, transfer to a local bus service (such as the 185) that goes towards Glendalough. Ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Cleevaun Lough. From there, you may need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach the lough. Ensure you check the bus schedules ahead of time, as they may vary on weekends.
Walking
Once you are in the vicinity of Cleevaun Lough, follow the marked trails that lead to the lough. The terrain may be rugged, so wear appropriate footwear and bring plenty of water. The walk from the nearest bus stop will take around 30-40 minutes. Ensure you have a map or GPS device to help guide you along the trail.
