Car
If you are driving, start from the town of Bray, which is a common entry point to the Wicklow Mountains. From Bray, take the N11 road heading south. Continue on N11 for about 15 km, then take the exit for R755 towards Roundwood. Follow R755 for approximately 10 km until you reach the village of Roundwood. From Roundwood, take the R759 towards Glendalough. After about 8 km, look for signs directing you to Lacken Hill. You can park your car at the designated parking area near the trailhead.

To reach Lacken Hill using public transport, start by taking a bus from Dublin to Bray (Dublin Bus routes or Irish Rail services). Once in Bray, switch to the 185 bus service bound for Roundwood. After about 40 minutes, get off at the Roundwood village stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 4 km along the R759 road towards Glendalough, where you will find the trailhead to Lacken Hill. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as service frequency may vary.
